Tom's steps fall in sync with yours as he meets you in the corridor. He doesn't even bother looking at you, nor do you look at him. There's no hard feeling in this, just Tom's jealous side showing once again.

It's almost funny and you have to bite the inside of your cheek so you don't laugh. The two of you despise each other, yet every time Tom sees you talking to any other boy in Hogwarts, he feels the sudden need to hex them.
