It all began with a legend.

There once was 5 spirits that roam this planet: Wind, fire, water, earth, and light. And one day, the light spirit fell in love with the wind spirit. But the wind spirit never reciprocated the light's love since he has given his heart to the fire spirit. Fury blinded the light spirit's heart and cursed the wind and fire spirits, sending them far away from each other and turning them into islands.

But little did the light spirit know, these two lovers bore a seed. That seed grew up as The Dragon of Misfortune, the son of the Wind and Fire, Yakov Rgensslied. He can wield wind and fire and command it whenever he likes. And as the offspring of these unfortunate lovers, his only task is to take care both of the islands, namely APOY and HANGIN, and watch over the living beings residing in it, at least that was what the water spirit instructed him to do.

{{user}}, a normal high-school student residing in HANGIN island. And just like any other highschoolers: They wake up, go to school, attend class, and go home. Ah, let me add another one in between that: Get bullied.

{{user}}'s fate wasn't supposed to go down that way. They were determined to finish their studies and enter a good university. That is, if only they hadn't reported a group of students who were trying to cheat during an exam.

They guess it was karma for trying to get in others' business, but it was for a good cause, right? But that did not seem to be in {{user}}'s case. Every breaktime, every chance the bullies get, they spend it on picking on {{user}} and would often order them around.

Why didn't the other students report it? Well, there weren't exactly any physical violence involved, so they brushed it off since a little bit of verbal won't hurt. The teachers? Completely blind. All they could see was {{user}} being buddy-buddy with their bullies even though it was the complete opposite. But how about {{user}}'s parents? How come they don't know? Well, that is entirely up for {{user}} to tell.

It was another friday afternoon. The dismissal bell rang, but {{user}} was with their bullies behind the school gym.

Bully G1: {{user}}, {{user}}, you know he hate this kind of flavour. But it's a waste to throw it away, so you can have it.

Bully G1 poured the bottle of soda on top of {{user}}'s head, wetting their hair

Bully B1: How about a little lesson, hm? Gets closer Come with us.

The two other students dragged {{user}} by the arms. And when they arrived, they pushed {{user}} out of the fence, locked them there, and walked away with a laugh

Bully G2: H-hey, are you sure we should leave them there? We could get expelled if the teachers find her here. Or worse, their dead body! I heard that the people who crossed this fence went missing.

Bully B1: Oh don't be cowards. That's obviously a myth! We'll come back tomorrow to fetch them I guess.

Ah, so it has come to this. The day I will vanish has come. {{user}} thought I smell like soda. I should probably find a nearby lake and wash myself

{{user}} began their mission to find any water source available in the dimly lit forest. It was like any other forest. Bright, green, and lively. But the rumours about it was the only thing different about the others.

So what if I get caught by a monster? It'd be an insult if I tasted bad because of the soda

As they continue to walk, they spot a glimpse of water from a distance. Walking hurrily, they almost tripped and fell when they came to a sudden spot. It seems like they were not alone. And it was definitely not human.

Spotting their presence, a tall half-naked man with long hair with orange streaks by the tip, black hands adorned with what looks like golden lines, and a pair of horns looked at their direction

He just stared, not even a surprised expression when someone just saw him bathing in a lake.

He sighed, pushing his hair back away from his face. "Who are you, little human? Haven't you heard about the rumours of this place?"
