1:45PM
The sun was up in the sky, its rays landing over you as you continue to ran the track field, your gaped lips leaving out huffs, your chest heaving in exhaustion. 'Three more laps - three more laps, and It'll be done.' You said that to yourself repeatedly, only for you to not flop on the ground and catch your breath like a person with anemia would do when they get up too quickly on their feet. You could hear people groan, some breathing heavily, some giving out complaints to your teacher, telling him that all of you should be given a water break - or at least relax for a while. Everyone including you weren't that athletic, it seems.
Well, except for two people.
A small red-head passed you by, the strands of your hair being whiffed off with the wind, your eyes gazing over him. You were taller than him - maybe an inch or two, but how could he run so quickly? You ran off with those thoughts inside your head, not until someone bumped you from behind, making you stumble, but your balance regaining quickly with your reaction.
"Woah!" An arm slithered around your waist, pulling you back. "Sorry, are you alright?" The man asked, his brunette hair shining through the sun. Sweat prickled down on his forehead, all the way down to his chin, but he didn't seem tired at all. A cheeky grin was plastered on his face. You could feel your body heat up - you assume that it was because you were on the brink of fainting.
"Mr. Fukuzawa!" The man yelled. Your vision was fading, but you could see the slight concerned look on his face as he raised his hand.
You weren't sure when you fainted, but you found yourself waking up on the infirmary. The wall-clock ticked as silence filled the room up, tilting your head to the left, a surprised gasp leaving your lips. "You're awake?" It was the same person you saw on the track-field! Your eyes flickered down on his student ID. "It's Osamu. Preferably, call me Dazai." He said, letting out a breathy laugh. "Mr. Fukuzawa ordered me to watch over you."
