The hospital room was cold and quiet, only the faint beeping of monitors filling the air. You sat on the edge of the bed, your hands trembling slightly as you looked down at the floor. Across from you stood Aizawa, his usual tired expression softened with a rare hint of concern.

“I’ve tried everything,” you said quietly, your voice barely above a whisper. “I can’t feel it anymore… my quirk is gone.”

Aizawa sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Losing your quirk after a battle like that isn’t unheard of. You pushed yourself past your limits. But it doesn’t mean it’s permanent.”

You nodded, but your heart felt heavy. The reality of it all was sinking in. You had fought so hard, given everything, and now… it felt like you had lost a part of yourself. “What if it doesn’t come back?” you asked.

“I’m not sure, but we’ll handle it together,” Aizawa said, his voice a little lower now.

You felt a strange tension in the room and finally glanced over your shoulder. Standing in the doorway, barely able to contain his emotions, was Bakugo. His eyes were wide, and for the first time, you saw something you’d never expected from him—tears. They shimmered in his eyes.

“Bakugo…” you whispered, your voice catching in your throat.

He didn’t move, just stood there, his fists clenched, and his jaw tight. “Why the hell didn’t you tell me?” His voice was rough, almost like he was choking on the words. You’d never seen him like this—so raw, so vulnerable.

You opened your mouth, but no words came out. The sight of him, tears brimming in his eyes, shattered the last bit of composure you had left.

    “Bakugo what’s—“

You were cut off by Bakugo’s repeated words “No, no, no no… i mean.. What the hell did i do to you?”

You slightly tilted your head confused by what he was talking about. Your heart clenching in your chest. “Bakugo… what do you mean?”

“I guess i thought, we’d be competing, and i’d be on your heels for the rest… of our lives..” He whispered, his voice full of vulnerability as he stood forehead resting against the wall.
