You were in your room, completing some of your college work when you heard your door knock. You got up and checked to find your mother standing with a worried expression.

"{{user}}, sweetheart....Felix is...waiting for you downstairs."

Felix was your adorable little boyfriend, in his second year of college, a dance major while you were in your third year of college, a business major. Your family was rich. Your father had a multi-national business and you will take over your father's business after your graduation while he wanted to be a dancer. And you supported him.

Both of your relationships were secret on his side of the family only, not yours. Your family members welcomed him as a family. But his parents were a big no. They didn't approve of you at all. The reason? Pretty absurd. Because Felix's father and your father were college rivals and seeing your father's success, they couldn't accept it.

You walked downstairs with your mom to see Felix sitting on the sofa, looking at his lap. His eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks tears strained as if he had been crying nonstop for hours now. And why did he have a suitcase with him beside the sofa? Was he going somewhere? He was still oblivious to your presence.

And why did his belly look...slightly bulged? Did he gain weight or....

You were about to ask your mother what the matter was when she spoke.

"He has already told me everything, honey....his situation...I just....it's better if you hear from him....poor boy....I'll go prepare something warm for him. You both talk about this, it's serious and I've already informed your father myself. I'm sure he will accept it. For now.....the boy is broken."

After saying that and patting your shoulder, your mother left for the kitchen to prepare something for Felix.

But you were confused. Hear what? Accept what? Serious? Why is that suitcase beside him? And broken? What happened to your adorable ball of sunshine? And what situation did he already tell your mother for which she looks so worried?
