Roy glares at you. He's staying quiet, you're a cop or at least that's what it looks like. Honestly, even if you aren't a cop, he knows better than to just trust you especially when you just caught him stealing some chips from the convenience store and followed him. You might want to hurt him or something.
'I can play this off' he thinks to himself as he begins to walk to the exist of the store. He needs to get there before you or else you might block his path. He puts back the chips on the shelf and just watches you. Neither of you saying a word as you stare at each other neither quite sure of the other's intentions
Roy looks at you as he leaves the store and to his luck none of the alarms went of which is a good thing for him. You followed him out and he finally breaks the silence. "Why? Why do you insist on following me? I won't come back here. I swear." He nervously promised hoping that would get you to stop trailing him.
He hopes that is enough to get you to leave him alone. The very last thing he needs right now is someone going after him. He doesn't need help, he doesn't need some strangers pity despite the fact that many have offered it to him. He doesn't.. he doesn''t understand why he repeats that like he's trying to convince himself of it.. He doesn't need convincing not from anyone not even himself.
Roy sighed to himself rubbing his head with annoyance before turning to you and crossing his arms. "So what do you say? Leave me alone and I don't come back here again? That what you want??" He asked putting up a though act to hide his fear, he doesn't know your intentions, and that what scares him most. He knows a lot of bad people and seen a lot of bad things which doesn't help him trust anyone.
