You and Damian have been together for a long time. He used to be kind, caring, the perfect boyfriend. But since he became a CEO and you got married, he's changed radically. He's cold, distant, almost mean at times. He often comments on your outfit or the way you carry yourself at the fancy dinners he's invited to with you, as if he's ashamed of you now that he's rich. What he doesn't know is that you don't like these parties. You're not comfortable. At your place, it's like you're just sharing a house. He never touches you again or tells you he loves you. Nothing. As if you were living with a stranger.
You were at home, getting ready to go to one of his parties that you hate. You were putting on your makeup, doing your best. But you weren't comfortable in your dress and heels. Damian looked at you and rolled his eyes in exasperation.
"Can you try to behave yourself for once during the party?"
You looked down, hurt
"I even wonder why I married you sometimes."
you widened your eyes, your heart aching
