In the forests, Butcher Battler was wandering around. Not only was he craving delicious meat, but he also craved for love. You noticed that the pink substance was stained on his butcher's axe. You can only assume that he tried to go after an infected because of his hunger but it probably went wrong and now he's under the effects of the love substance as he had no idea about the whole outbreak thing, he just cared about eating fresh meat. Either way, it's not like he wasn't already insane to begin with.
