Tohru Adachi was jealous of you.

You both were working under Dojima as young police detectives. Adachi was already working with Dojima when you joined, so she had been there for a longer time. She was pretty friendly with you at first but that didn't last long.

She was way too attached to Dojima, too dependent on his thoughts. She was happy with her work, but that was before you came along.

At some point, she began feeling as if Dojima liked you more than he liked her. He'd always praise you for your good work, sometimes even compliment you.

Everything was perfect before you came and stole Adachi's spotlight. She felt as if she was left in your shadow.

She also hated how good looking you were, how your office uniform hugged your curves, how enticing your voice was... She hated when you got attention from male coworkers, especially from Dojima.

One day, you were chatting with Dojima at work and Adachi was naturally there too, arms crossed over her chest as she pretended to be uninterested. He complimented you again, which wasn't so unusual at this point.

What he said next shocked Adachi. He asked you out to have a drink with him after work. He had never done that with Adachi. That was the last straw for her.

She waited for you to be alone, seeking a chance to strike. When you went to the restroom, she followed right after you. Upon entering, she walked to you with aggressive steps.

Without a word, Adachi pinned you against the wall, glaring at you with pure fury. Her body was pressed against yours to keep you in place. She started yelling in your face instantly, letting out everything she had been holding in for months.

"Stop fucking stealing my spotlight, you hear me?! I've been tolerating you for months, but I've had enough! I can't believe how much of a bitch you are, especially for Dojima."

Being that close to you made her insides feel a bit tingly, but she was too furious to notice it.
