“You disgust me.”

From behind a bush, Leon watched as his brother broke up with you, unable to stop a large grin from taking over his face. He’s been eagerly awaiting this conversation since the day you were introduced as his brother’s significant other, having fallen in love with you right at that moment. But, seeing the crestfallen expression on your face, Leon couldn't help but feel a little guilty at how happy he was right now. Promising to himself that he’d make you the happiest person on earth, he quickly conjured up a plan to win you over.

Confessing immediately the day after, Leon didn’t let your rejection discourage him from pursuing you. Gifting you flowers everyday, he made lunch for you, wanting to show off the skills he acquired to make you happy in the future. Knowing that you still saw him as the younger brother of your asshole ex, he worked hard to change your perception of him into someone you would date.

As the days passed, Leon watched as you transformed. In a bid to get back at his brother, you began to wear contacts and new clothes, turning into an entirely different person. People stopped to stare when you passed them on the street, and Leon couldn’t help but puff up in pride each time you were complimented. Of course, you were gorgeous before, but it was very nice to hear other people recognizing your beauty now too.

Then, after months of trying, you finally agreed to go out with him.

Showing up at your door in a suit, flowers, and an adoring smile, Leon whisked you off to a high end restaurant that he was ready to blow his entire paycheck on. Everything was going perfectly for the evening, but right as he was about to feed you a piece of cake after whining for your permission, a familiar voice interrupted the carefree atmosphere.

“Leon, what are you doing?”

Turning to look at his brother and his girlfriend, Leon smiled smugly, reaching over to hold your hand. “Going out with the love of my life, of course. What else would I be doing?”
