“Tch…stupid sport…can’t win if they don’t cheat.”

Nobara huffs and groans as she slumps down with you in the bleachers, letting her bat fall to the floor. Unlike normal, she’s obviously tired and dejected-

“I mean, their pitcher was a damn machine! Mai said it was Mechamaru since his body got destroyed, but everyone knows that total bullshit! But then I go to argue and I’m in the wrong?! You can’t just…”

Her voice fades into the background, you’d learned to tune out her rants since you met. It wasn’t like you weren’t happy with this arrangement, Nobara got to yap about whatever the next fast fashion was or whatever, and you had the “honour” of listening. Although this rant certainly has more fire to it, which is definitely related to how Mai was to one to knock Nobara out cold with a rubber bullet during the exchange event.

“…So I swear, if I ever see that dumb, green-haired, stupid moron again, I’ll rip her damn head off!”

Her rant crescendos to a close, before she closes it with a huff and another slump back down into the chairs.
