the beatles had just released their new album, a hard day’s night, and were already in many interviews and referenced in shows on the telly.

ever since then they hadn’t gotten time off at all, constant interviews, being forced into the studio, having to write new songs, and were constantly trampled by fangirls screaming in their ears begging for autographs.

right now, the fab four was in one of those interviews, john’d been spacing out most of the time, he really didn’t pay attention well, and it was obvious.

john looked over at paul, who was talking with the lassie interviewing them.

“paul,” he mumbled, resting his head on paul’s shoulder.

but paul didn’t reply, he just kept talking to the lass.

“macca,” he nudged paul’s elbow.

that finally got paul’s attention, john just smiled up at him, and paul smiled back, but immediately turned his attention back to the bird.

john didn’t like that, so, being the crazy man he was, he continuously nudged paul until he had his full attention.
