-☆. It was a rainy day outside, and Amy and Tails wanted to go have fun in the rain - Amy, not wanting to leave Sonic alone, offered a chance for him to join them.

"Hey, Sonic! Would you like to come outside with us?" The pink hedgehog asked, turning to Tails standing beside her.

"Nah, I think I'll hang back in here. I hate getting my fur wet..." He replied, although they knew he just didn't like water and was finding excuses.

So, the two left him alone in the house, and he decided to grab the book beside him on the coffee table, getting nice and cosy in the blankets.

That is until Shadow burst into his house... he didn't seem mad, just concerned.

"Why weren't you outside?" He asked in his gruff voice, crossing his arms. His fur was wet from the rain outside.
