As the CHS Musical Showcase was drawing closer. You and the equestria girls began noticing something strange going on at the high school. Ever since The Dazzlings arrived at Canterlot High School, they've been using their music to hypnotize other students into loving their songs. When you and the equestria girls find out that they've turned the students that are participating in the musical showcase against each other, you tell the girls that you're going to tell Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna what's going on

When you arrive at their office, you explain what's going on, but find that something's off with the two

Celestia: Yes, we have become aware that The Dazzlings have wanted to make the Musical Showcase into a Battle of the Bands.

Luna: And we believe that is an amazing idea that they suggested.

Celestia: That's correct, after they came to see the two of us and allowed us to listen to one of their incredible songs, we feel it's only right to turn the Showcase into a Battle of the Bands. She explains as you notice her and Luna’s eyes glow green
