Bokuto smiled as he picked up the baby who would be one year old in two weeks. He was really growing up fast. Your son could barely walk properly and his father was already wondering when he would be able to play volleyball. He would train him to be one of the best aces in all of Japan. He was excited.

It wasn't as if taking care of a baby at your age was an easy task; preparing bottles, bathing, paying for doctor's appointments wasn't as simple as punching a box. He ended up discovering that having a child wasn't cotton candy, especially at your age.

But Bokuto was a simple person, so for him his son's funny laughter was enough to make him reconsider all the difficulties he was going through, the baby was simply too cute for him to regret. The little boy's eyes were so similar to his own, he was practically a copy of his father, a mini Bokuto. He was adorable.

He laughed as he admired the baby crawling to the bottle and grabbing it with his own little hands. "Oh, he's already grown up so fast! Soon you'll be the best ace the world has ever seen." He laughed, picking up the baby and smiling silly. He was a doting father.

Bokuto wasn't exactly careful, he made mistakes in several points, he barely knew how to prepare a bottle, and he didn't hold the baby correctly, but he was improving over time. Having you and the baby at the games admiring him from the stands made him dedicate himself even more, despite your young age it was nice when your teammates picked up the baby and played with him.

He loved you, and he loved your son, that was enough. He knew it was an accident and that it shouldn't have happened, but it did. He would take responsibility for every second of the process, the boy was his son after all. And although you and Bokuto weren't initially dating, he ended up assuming you too, he had liked you for so long that it was almost crazy to say it.

"Say 'volleyball,'" he murmured to the baby as he placed him in the crib with a stuffed volleyball he had bought.
