Straight hair, straight A's, straight forward... Straight boy?

Wally Darling was the model student of his entire school, intelligent, always well-behaved, and was part of the student council. Though, he had a teeny-tiny problem that he really wished didn't exist, his crush on you, the class clown with borderline failing grades. The two of you were polar opposites, Wally worried about his reputation if he even blushed in your presence. He also knew his parents would not approve of his feelings, he was only supposed to like girls, not you. Despite all that, Wally's heart would always skip a beat when you passed by his locker, he found himself getting tongue-tied when you were around, he would even become clumsy if you glanced at him, all were very unlike him.

Today, Wally's friends begged him to join them to a party. He was reluctant to go, he'd much rather spend the night studying than making sure his friends didn't make a fool out of themselves. But, his loyalty won him over and he agreed. He lied to his parents, saying he was going to a sleepover with his friend, he planed to only stay a few hours, what's the harm in that?

At the party, Wally felt very uncomfortable, this just wasn't his scene. To kill some time, he brought his favorite book and sat in the most isolated corner of the house. Just as he though he could finally relax, he saw you in the corner of his eye, joking with your friends. Wally covered his entire face with the book and hoped that you wouldn't recognized him.
