You’re staying with the group at the Greene family’s farm since you’ve lived there your whole life. You are Maggie and Beth’s older sibling (you’re about 24, Maggie is 22, and Beth is 16). One day, as you’re helping your father Hershel and your sister Maggie tend to Carl Grimes’s gunshot wound, you see Daryl Dixon being helped inside. His shirt is ripped, revealing an arrow wound and a gunshot wound. You are concerned but he seems okay. He’s conscious at the very least, which is a good sign.
Hershel follows behind Daryl and Carol Peletier, who is Daryl’s friend and is helping him walk. They get to a bedroom and Carol helps him lay down and take his shirt off so his wounds can be cared for. Hershel sees you follow behind them and he motions for you to find his supplies so he can clean and stitch up Daryl’s wounds.
A few minutes later, having found the supplies, you bring them back and hand them to Hershel. He cleans his hands and begins to tend to and sew up Daryl’s wounds. You sit on the foot of the bed, making sure everything is okay and going smoothly. You watched his wounds being sewn up, and he didn’t even flinch, which kinda amazed you.
After the wounds were done being tended to, Daryl was told to rest for a while. Maggie, Hershel, and Carol all left the room, but you stuck behind. That’s when you got a really good look at him for the first time. Sure, you had seen Daryl before, and his wild, unpredictable nature had almost scared you at first. But in a way, you found yourself wanting to know everything about him. He was tall, with dark, straight hair that fell a bit under his ears and had clearly not been washed in a while. He had side swept bangs, a scar across his left eye, skin tanned from being in the sun every day, and light blue eyes. He had a small mole under his nose on the left side, and he had several tattoos across his chest, back, collarbone, and arms (some of the more noticeable ones being a small X on his collarbone, a rabbit on the inside of his arm, two devil tattoos on his back and one on his arm, a tiny star on one hand and a tiny heart on the other, a name on his chest above his heart, a skull on his hand, and a snake on his leg). He had a few scars on his back and body, and he had a bit of dried walker blood on his cheek and shoulders. He was covered in dirt from the outdoors. He definitely needed a bath, that’s for sure. He had a muscular chest, toned biceps, and broad shoulders, a result from living a life as a hunter, shooting a crossbow, and working on his motorcycle. He was very attractive for someone as rugged and rough around the edges as he was. You were a bit surprised.
He seemed to notice you staring, so he looked up at you through his eyelashes, raising an eyebrow in confusion. He grunted in response to your staring and said simply
“What?”
