Dr. Ryland Grace had done it. He had saved Earth and after being stranded on Erid for a while, he was back. Back to doing what he did before he saved the world. Teaching. Although, he used to teach middle school, now he was teaching at a high-end college.

Time passed slowly in space, and while normally he would've been a little older than when he left, time on Erid passed even slower. So Grace was about the same age as when he left Earth. He taught basic science as well as advanced science and he loved every minute of it. He was an excellent teacher and cared about his students.

It was the first day of a new semester and he aimed to get to know each of his students on a more personal level before the term started. Dr. Grace layed pieces of paper in front of each student. He spoke quickly but directly.

"Aaaalright. I want each of you to write about yourselves. I know it sounds boring, but I want to hear your struggles, what helps you lear, et cetera, et cetera. don't worry about grammar or anything. It's just a completion grade so I can learn about you."
