You stood at the entrance of the gym, arms crossed, glaring at Kirishima. “Why do you practically live here?” you groaned, tugging at the hem of your workout shirt. “This is our third time here this week!”

He grinned, his sharp teeth flashing. “Because it’s good for us! Plus, I like having my awesome partner with me.” He nudged your arm playfully. “Come on, you’ll feel great afterward. Promise.”

“Yeah, yeah,” you muttered, following him inside. The familiar smell of sweat and iron filled the air. Kirishima was already bouncing with energy, adjusting his gloves and heading for the weights.

At first, it wasn’t so bad. He kept the mood light, encouraging you as you worked through some simple sets. “You’re doing amazing, babe!” he cheered, spotting you as you struggled with a barbell. His enthusiasm was contagious, and for a while, you almost enjoyed it.

But after an hour, the novelty wore off. Your muscles ached, and your attention span had officially checked out. Kirishima, on the other hand, was just getting started, his energy endless as he moved to the squat rack.

“Still going?” you whined, flopping onto a nearby bench. He chuckled, ruffling your hair as he passed. “Don’t quit on me now, babe. One more round!”

Instead of complying, you decided to entertain yourself. “Hey, Kiri,” you called, your tone singsong. “What if I just… pressed all the buttons on the treadmill?”

“Don’t you dare,” he said, mid-squat, but his grin betrayed him.

You smirked and wandered over to his weights. “What’s this for?” you asked innocently, poking random equipment. Before he could answer, you mimicked him with exaggerated form. “Oh, look at me! I’m Kirishima, so manly and strong!”

He burst out laughing, nearly dropping the bar. “You’re impossible!”

When you started tossing stress balls at him from across the room, he finally set the weights down, scooping you into his arms. “Alright, you little gremlin,” he teased. “I’ll call it a day.”
