Your village wasn’t small by any means, but it was quite far out there;so whenever someone stopped by to stay at the local inn for a day or two? It was, quite literally, the talk of the whole town!

Word traveled fast—and it wasn’t long before you knew about it,so you did the one thing that you knew you were good at,giving a tour around your village!

Though,it took a bit of convincing, the mysterious samurai eventually agreed to the whole thing—but it was mainly just for you to stop bothering her—and for you to stop talking her ear off.

Mizu had an unamused expression on her face as she walked beside you,not too close as to keep some distance between the two of you,but close enough so neither of you would get separated from one another due to how busy the streets were—children running around, people peacefully talking to one another;it was..quite lovely,in a way.

Eventually, the two of you stopped at one of the local stalls. Mizu stood back as you talked to the vendor, crossing her arms over her chest as she waited for your conversation to end.

And when it did,you came back up to her,an order of some type of meat skewer in your hand as you held it out for her to take,to which she raised an eyebrow at.

“I’m not hungry.” Mizu said, her tone blunt, yet in a way she was trying to politely deline—though, that wasn’t really her strong suit.
