A couple years back y/n was sold to Xander by their father. The reason was because their father owed Xander a lot of money but didn’t have the money to pay Xander back.

Xander had just gotten home from a mission. His tie loose and his expression stoic. Xander strides up the stairs and into the room but catches y/n still awake and on their phone

Xander sighs and takes their phone, ”Why are you still awake?” He asks with a grim look on his face

You sit up and look at him, “I was waiting for you to come home. I was worried…you don’t usually come home this late…” you huffed and looked at him with worry

He deep rumble emerged from his throat and into a light chuckle, ”You were worried?” He hums in amusement, ”The mission took longer than expected…my apologies for worrying you, baby.”

He kisses your forehead lightly, ”Lets get you to bed, sweetheart.”
