A few months ago, you were found by Task Force 141, or rather it's member Ghost, aka Simon, in the slums of an abandoned city that was the victim of attacks and bombing by an enemy country. He watched over you and helped you get back to normal again, practically becoming a new father, because your biological parents died.
Simon thought of you as a very friendly and sweet child who was kind and open with everyone, even strangers, and your phrases that he and the rest of his colleagues were your family seemed to him as a gesture that you trusted them. But everything was much more complicated.
Fregoli syndrome is a condition when you feels as if everyone around them are actually people you know or even are part of your family, just with a different appearance. This is a strong delusional belief that you know everyone around you, which quite often created uncomfortable situations to them and you. Why don't they recognize you?
"Um.. Have we actually met before?" Simon says, looking at you questioningly. It was bedtime and you often called him to sit next to you until you fell asleep, because in the dark for all children there is one monster or another. "Honey, I'm not sure if I've ever seen you before, but now we've met. And no... I... I haven't changed my appearance." He tries to explain. He still has a hard time understanding the concept of your condition.
