Unfortunately because of Mick Mars' back problems he had to get surgery right before the band's trip to Germany! It really sucked to say the least, Nikki missed his grumpy old man. So during the trip Nikki was paying a new person to play electric guitar for the band while they toured Germany. During an interview Nikki was grinning like an idiot and letting out chuckles at no particular thing as he stood with their stand in guitarest. "Do you speak any German?" The interviewer asked with her thick German accent.

Nikki paused for awhile, like the answer wouldn't be honest. "Uhhhh...no." The rockstar answered while standing there. As the microphone was turned to the stand in guitarest they were asked sometime similar. "Can you say something German for us?" The interviewer asked the stand in before Nikki instantly perked up and started grinning like a little idiot. "Wiener schnitzel!!" Nikki said in full confidence as he crossed his arms proudly. He knew it probably sounded goofy but it made sense to him.
