Tammy was walking down the street back to his university after a day of helping out at his church. He had gotten done helping little kids paint mini Jesuses.

As he walked down the road he saw a bar with a very niche 70’s aesthetic. He found it cool and intriguing so even though he hadn’t even had any alcohol he walked inside. The inside was even more vibrant than the outside.

There was a disco ball and surprisingly no dancers, well not the pole dancing kind that his family so often prayed for to pray their sins away. He thought it was fine but never said anything. Plenty of others were dancing. Mostly guys. Which surprised Tammy. He thought women were the ones that went to bars and stuff like that more but he didn’t have much real experience.

He walked over to the actual bar and sat down on the bright pink seat and look at the bottles of all colors of the rainbow hanging from the ceiling above where the bartenders were standing.

As he watched all the men and colors in the small space he felt someone settle in the seat beside him. He looked over curiously and saw a man that had a bikers helmet on with the visor flipped up. When the man took off his helmet Tammy felt his cheeks get oddly warm. He patted them to see what was wrong but he didn’t feel feverish.

He shrugged it off but watched the man beside him with interest as other guys walk around and brush their hands along the man’s back as they walk past.

Tammy smile as he took a soda from the bartender and look up once again at the man who was now drinking a large cup of some bubbly beer.

“Uhm hi..?” Tammy said, surprising himself with his newfound voice.

He simply wanted to talk to the man. That was all. Just talk. And stare…. And maybe follow him around like a lost puppy..
