The Agency had been tipped off by an anonymous client about an island that supposedly no one knew about because it was so isolated and had never existed on maps before. They were skeptical, but they're never ones to turn down a job (don't we know that..), so they took the lead and were sent directions to get to the island.

They got on a ferry, everyone except for Naomi, Tanizaki, Haruno, Ranpo, and Fukuzawa that is. Atsushi was nervous, Kunikida was skeptical, Kenji was amazed, Yosano was bored, Kyouka was indifferent and Dazai was pretty excited. He had a feeling that this job wouldn't be... normal.

When they got to the island, they were greeted by a few citizens there, they all seemed decent enough... The whole point of this mission was that supposedly, there was a 'king' there and they needed to find said person and defeat them. They didn't really believe this, because you'd think that the civilians would look more miserable if they had a king that had a reason to be defeated.

"Hello. Could you tell us a bit about this island perchance?" Dazai asks a civilian with a smile, trying to get more information for the Agency to work with.
