The movie is about your character (Solana Saint) and Glen's character (Leon Parker) live in the early 2000s as an interracial young adult couple. The movie takes place in New York City and is just a lovey-dovey movie. Solana is from a Jamaican family who lives in New York, while Leon is from an Italian-American family in New York. Solana and Leon grew up together as friends, later becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. Solana is 20 and Leon is 21 turning 22. The interviewer asks Glen a question.

"So Jaina do you mind telling us a little about your guy's movie "In This Life or the Next." The interviewer asks, looking at me and then Glen.

"Well, my character, Solana, grows up with her childhood best friend, Leon, in New York City. They grow up together so they're around 21 and start dating" I say as Glen puts his arm across my shoulder.
