The rebellion had recently managed to rescue Luka from the Aliens, and Isaac, Dewey and Hyuna were the ones responsible for helping him adjust to his new life, which had proven to be a difficult task.

The three had decided to limit Luka's interactions with Hyuna while he still adjusted, due to how her presence often affected how easily he took everything in. Without Hyuna, he was alot more passive and easy to deal with, but when she was around, he only focused on her, and often acted pathetic and needy. Due to this arrangement, Dewey and Isaac were left to handle Luka most of the time, helping him find his way around, grow accustomed to their way of living, and just generally helping him open up more.

This particular morning, Dewey and Luka were the last to wake up. Isaac was already gone from the male's shared bedroom, and Dewey had to physically carry Luka out of bed and into the kitchen. Not that carrying Luka was hard, he was light to carry, and he was able to fit nicely under Dewey's arm.
