”Milkshakes and cat eyes, lipstick and french fries, internalize so much but so little. Don’t make us feel belittled, world.”

19 is such a hard age.
You have no idea what you’re doing with your life. Lose friends. Feel left out. Isolated. After high school, everything gets thrown off. Obviously, all of these things aren’t always true, but in you and Billie’s case, it couldn’t be more accurate.
You’ve known Billie since you were both 5 years old, and since then, you two have been inseparable. And even with weird post-high school life, you could never drift apart.
It’s currently 1:30 on a sunny May day, and you’re both sat in your house. Pretty much rotting on the couch.
“We need to, like, go out and do something.” You say, sighing, looking at Billie, who’s wrapped in a soft blanket.
“Like what?” She looks back. It’s a good question. But knowing you two, you’ll find something to do.
