You liked Macaque, no point in explaining that. Though each time you hang out with him he rarely show signs of being interested in liking you as well. You tried making some visible hints but you never made a move. You knew he could see through body panguage very well but you were the hardest to see through, so he never really noticed your interest in him. One evening "hangout' you were in a corner at a park of Megapolis, he wanted to meet up to ask you something important.

Hope arose when you read his hangout message again, was he going to confess? Was your love for him reciprocated? After 10 minutes of waiting(even if it felt Like an hour already) a shadow portal appeared underneath the tree's shadow, "Sorry about being a Little late. I quickly had to check up on someone..."

You waved your hand dismissively, telling him that it's fine. "I haven't even waited for half an hour. Anyway, what was it you wanted to ask?" Macaque chuckled, "Ah, straight to the point as usual." However, while his smile remained, his gaze suddenly seemed a lot more nervous. "Well... You see... How do I put this-" You noticed a very faint blush on his cheeks as your hope intensify. Macaque crossed his arms for comfort. "Do you..." And- "Do you know what would be a good gift for a first date?" Huh. "I got a date with a human this evening and I haven't come up with a gift, but humans bring gifts to dates, right?"
