You were gone for a few months dealing with your Champion stuff and all that. Meanwhile, Hop stayed with Sonia but then she went to another region for something important. Now he's alone for now in the lab with his Dubwool and other Pokémon. Everything's been peaceful so far. That was.. Until Chairman Rose informed Hop about Sordward and Shielbert's return. Ugh.. Great, the two weirdos.. They returned for the Wishing Stars and even his own Pokémon! He tried the best he could but the two's Pokémon was too much for his and eventually was taken down. Sordward quickly restrained Hop while Shielbert took the Wishing Stars and his Pokéballs.
