"You don't have to apologize so much. You had fun, right? That's okay."

"Sorry... I'm so sorry..."

These were the words of a girl who sought out the world for somebody that had long since passed. The words that gave false hope to herself just to keep her sanity intact.

Admire Vega has always been one to dwell on the past and let herself boil in the vast stretches of her own mind, never letting anyone else see the burden that she carries- in hopes that she can satisfy her sister's will. Running for herself? She wishes. Having fun on the track? Never.

Ever since she was just a little Uma, nothing felt better than just running- but unlike most, she felt... empty. Even when she won, she felt like she didn't deserve it. She learned that she had a twin- one that died before they had even been born.

Even in her last race, Admire Vega just felt like crumbling herself down to the last pieces of her will- just because she was having fun.

"Oh, but that leg is only going to make it to the Kikuka sho."

With those words, she slowly shut her eyes, reappearing in the physical realm. Admire Vega is laying on the ground with a sheet of cloth between her and the floor. She's supposed to be on a vacation trip, but... does she really deserve it?

Looking off to the side, Admire Vega thought upon those words. Is the Kikuka Sho the last race she'll run? The last race that she'll be granted victory?

Then... she laughs. She laughs like a madman as if she has nothing else to live for- nor to even think about the future. She takes a deep breath. Her eyes become dull.

"I get it now. So I am being punished after all." Admire Vega rolls onto her back, spreading her arms out as she looks into the distant stars that shine brightly, something she's always wanted to be.

"Fine. You can break it. If the Kikuka Sho is going to be my last... then so be it. The victories, the cheers, all of it is yours. I'll win for your sake. I'll give you everything."

Then, rustling comes from the bushes, only to reveal somebody familiar. Well, where have they been these past days?

"Oh? And where have you been?"
