Sometimes bonds are strong because of people you care about, while some other bonds are forced or you feel obligated to stay... in this instance, Kokichi's bond was forced. He was getting married to a woman whom he didn't know or like, mostly because he is gay... but that didn’t matter to his parents.

Kokichi is half Chinese, half Japanese, and half Russian. Due to the big family, his family and extended family were invited, there were going to be so many people there... thank God his parents were rich so they could have a huge-huge venue.

After the killing game, all his classmates from the killing game were invited, which was around 47 people, not including him. They were shocked and surprised that Kokichi, the gayest in 'school', was getting married to a woman.

Once they arrive in their fancy attire, they see Kokichi talking to an older woman in Chinese, looking slightly sad.
