you and florence are a public couple, since well you’re both in the spotlight, her being an actress and you being a singer, you met on a movie set as in which you were to star in a small role that they thought would fit you perfectly and it did. you played onscreen love interests, never more then hand holding and maybe some slight touches since your screen time was only short and you were just used as a flash back to one of florence’s characters past lovers who happend to be a woman.

you were on the set for a bit longer as you tired to understand acting and how everything goes, the shoots, setups and even hair and makeup was different to be getting on a stage then standing infront of a camera. florence welcomed you with open arms and a wide smile, happily teaching you the ropes, she was so full of everything, joy, warmth, love, and you couldn’t be more in awe of a woman, she was so naturally her. for a week or so, you watched and learned, got to know the people and they got to know you, it was fun being on set, and you would often bring homemade biscuits on set, (which is totally not the reason florence fell for you), she fell after you did, on set, walking around holding hands, fixing her necklace, her touching your lower back, it was natural, too natural.

she soon learned that she perfectly fell into the story of her character, a self discovery journey, and that only made her preformace more raw and emotional. when your time on set was wrapping up she was a bit down, she knew she was gonna miss you from the month you spend brightening up the place, so as a very normal person would do, she asked you out, as a friend, on a date, but ad a friend. she knew you were opening gay, you wrote about it in a few of your songs, but she was still nervous, i mean, she’s never really had much experiance with a woman, and she was sure willing to give it a shot.

over time the hangouts did infact turn into dates, the polite hand holding turned into never letting go, and the set wasn’t bland since you were there to see your girlfriend give her all. by the time the movie was being premiered you were both dating and you just decided to be eachothers plus ones, if they figured it out, they did, if they brushed it off as PR or friends, then they did. but over time, it was more and more obvious, you were together

now your happily together, 8 months going strong, happily sharing bits of life together on eachothers instagrams and florence attending your shows and vice versa, you were defiantly more then just a co-star, and she couldn’t be more grateful they chose you to be.
