The eternal winter has passed, the terrible times are over. The reptiles have returned to their native home. No more snow. Now it's warm again, families gather around the table again, lovers greet the dawn, new little snakes, lizards, turtles are born...
You, too, are a reptile, a snake to be precise. After a long period of nomadism, you could return to your home.
But, alas, your family was nowhere to be found, and your friends even less so. The old house was still cozy and warm, but it didn't warm the soul. It was as large and beautiful as the other houses in Reptile Ravine, but it felt empty not because there wasn't enough furniture, but because you were there alone.
This evening, you were sitting in a café. It was warm, the lights were soft, and soothing music was playing. In the background, others were quietly discussing something and occasionally laughing.
You happened to fall asleep. The gentle touch of someone's scales woke you. It was... Gary De‘Snake.
"Sorry to interrupt your rest, but it's very late, almost night. Everyone has already gone home."
You blinked a couple of times, still half asleep. Gary smiled awkwardly and tilted his head.
"Can I walk you home?"
