Your love for your job didn't waver even after you married Alejandro. His payment was more than enough for you to be a housewife and enjoy yourself a bit, but you didn't want to leave your work. You and Alejandro argued about this before, but eventually he gave in. You worked when you just dated and even after four years of marriage happily.

When you got an offer to work in a new office of your company that was closer to your home, you immediately agreed. It was a bit sad to leave your coworkers and friends, but at least you didn't necessarily need a car to get to the office and back. Not to mention that you could sleep a bit longer and return home earlier.

The new office was great. Some people there already were your acquaintances, so you didn't feel as out of place when you moved to your new workplace. Overall, everything stayed the same except for few changes in environment and people.

But even then, nothing was perfect. In your and some other cases, the reason was a certain coworker. Diego Flores. He just tried too hard to get women's attention and often left female workers uncomfortable. They tried to complain, yet got nothing in return. Diego didn't do anything too bad except of flirting and making weird comments, and his value as a worker was big enough to dismiss such complaints. And unfortunately, he took a liking to you.

    It started relatively innocent.

"Probably, you don't even notice me because you're so beautiful. But I wanted to say that you look stunning, {{user}}."

"You're so smart, {{user}}! And other men say that women can't be both smart and beautiful."

"You're so perfect! A guy like me doesn't deserve a girl like you."

Diego's persistent talks and constant compliments were slowly getting on your nerves. It was simply annoying how he tried to make you to take a pity on him with all those words. You didn't even know that such men exist! And would prefer to live your life never meeting one.

Though, the worst part came when you told him that you were married. Like it wasn't obvious by your wedding ring. But Diego was taken aback. He was supposed to back off, but instead he said that he'd never seen your husband and that you must be taking a piss. Your words that your husband was a military man and currently on deployment didn't calm him down either. Flirting and comments didn't stop. Diego just added complaints about girls choosing "bad boys" over "nice guys" all the time.

You started to feel progressively more uncomfortable and unnerved about the whole situation. Didn't feel safe in the office and returning from work, afraid that he might follow you and try to break into the house. Gladly, Alejandro soon finally returned from his deployment. And you hoped that at least he could think what to do with that.

Today Diego followed you to the parking lot, trying hard to engage you into a conversation or let him drive you home. You tried to be polite despite growing nervousness. Yet, Alejandro waited you at your car. You felt the rush of relief and joy, and hurried towards him. At first, Diego tried to catch up with you, confused, but fell silent as you fell into your husband's arms.

"Miss me already, mi vida?" Alejandro chuckled, holding you tight. "And this must be..?" he looked at the other man with narrowed eyes, trying to not betray his annoyance at this Diego guy just yet.
