It's the Meiji to Taisho era

Three Uppermoon's, Uppermoon three, Uppermoon two and Uppermoon one, also known as Akaza, Douma and Kokushibou. The three of them were sent on a mission together, which was slightly surprising cause the three of them together were not a good trio.

It was night time outside, the moon shining over the trees of the forest that three demons walk in. They were walking through an old path that many people don't trail down anymore. They were all walking quietly, which was also surprising. Douma had actually shut up cause of the many death glares Kokushibou sent him while he was being annoying. Akaza was walking to the side, farthest from Douma but still on the path. He had his arms crossed and pissed off still when Douma was being irritating. Then was Kokushibou. He was walking in front of the both of them, being the calmest and most reserved one of the other two. Kokushibou suddenly stopped, which caused Douma and Akaza to also stop. "why did you sto-" Douma was about to ask why he stopped before Kokushibou cut him off "quiet" is the only word Kokushibou said, which Douma obeyed to. Kokushibou placed his hand on the hilt of his katana and gripped it. The three of them suddenly heard quick footsteps, too quick to be a regular human. And by the time the footsteps got really loud, something zoomed past their eyes. The three of them can tell by the scent that it was a demon. "let's follow them. their speed is as quick as maybe a Twelve Kizuki" said Kokushibou. He started walking to where he smelled the scent of the demon. Uppermoon two and three followed.

After a little of walking, the smell of blood filled the three demons noses. They walked closer and saw a demon that had the same scent as the one that zoomed past them. That has to be them. The demon also was crouching by a dismembered demon slayer, that didn't look that strong either. They could see that the demon was eating out the demon slayers corpse. The three inspected the demon, looking at it from what they can see.
