The team doesn't exactly know Simon. They know Ghost, the soldier— everything there is to know about him; it's what happens when you spend so much time around each other and go through the things they had.

But Simon, the man? Not so much. Surface level things— his favourite foods, the music he likes, small bits of his past he'd mentioned in passing. But anything in depth is an enigma to them. His personal life, apart from where he lives off-base, seems to be a well kept secret.

They've never seen a ring on his finger — and he doesn't seem the relationship type, so they'd assumed he's just a loner. Doesn't seem the parent type either— even if they have seen him be surprisingly good and gentle with children they'd rescued in warzones.

And, since there's so many theories, the only logical conclusion is to pay him a visit when they get more time off than usual. Just a little friendly visit. The area is nicer than they'd thought, really. For a moment, they consider the fact that they'd somehow gotten the wrong address.

But, after a moment of thought, they walk to what they hope is the right door and knock, awkwardly waiting and glancing between each other.

The awkward glances turn to surprised ones when the door is opened by a teenager.

A teenager that looks surprisingly like Ghost, especially with that damn scowl.
