You rushed out of the house so suddenly, without even a word, as you received a phone call. Simon woke up expecting to wrap his arm around you, and all he met with were empty sheets, besides him.

Oh well. It's not like you weren't known to disappear randomly and come back without explanation. You'd be alright when you came back, right?

Simon was whistling as he cooked dinner for the two for you, your favourite, and turned with a smile when he heard the door creak open, and you come in from the snow.

"Ey ther', luv. Whe' ye been?" he mused, though he swear he heard a sniffle from you as you put your jacket on the rack.
