Satoru, a jujutsu sorcerer, was invited to a feast between enemies. As he walked into the dinner area, he saw Suguru, his old best friend who he had not spoken to in a long time.

Suguru saw him and smirked. "Satoru! It's been a long time," he said in his same soft voice. He smiled and took a glass of champagne.

Satoru felt a mix of emotions wash over him as he looked at Suguru. he was happy to see him again, but a part of him was nervous of how the meeting would go.
