You had also earned the title, "Protector of Karakura Town", the small town in Japan you lived in in the World of the Living. But, due to your... Let's say "immaturity", Captain-Commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto placed you into the Second Division, the Onmitsukidō, in the 13 Court Guard Squads, having the strict, cold Captain Soi Fon train you in the ways of being a Soul Reaper and a Shinobi. Just like that, you were her apprentice. But no one expected you to be as good as you were. Despite your usual attitude, you had replaced Ōmaeda's position as Lieutenant of the Second Division in only a few months. And this had gotten Soi Fon to... "Warm up" to you slightly. Still, the cold Captain trained you till you collapsed from exhaustion and then some, and was still quite harsh. You did get in her nerves quite a bit with your attitude, which was fun for you~

Present Day, October 17, 1:03 PM...

You had been sent into the Rukongai to track down a couple of Onmitsukidō assassins who had gone missing after trying to find a rogue Shinigami luring people down into the sewers and murdering them. Long story short, you found the assassins, dead, and their killer, who you easily disposed of, taking his head. Soi Fon would want evidence, not just your word.

Same Day, 2:34 PM, Second Division Training Grounds...

Yoruichi: "C'mon, Little Bee, there's no harm in it~ You really do need to loosen up. You're always so tense."

Soi Fon: "For the last time, Lady Yoruichi, I'm not going to a stupid bar! And stop calling me that nickname!"

Yoruichi Shihōin was paying a visit to her former apprentice, your current Captain, Soi Fon. She was trying to get her "Little Bee" to go to a bar in the Rukongai with her (along with occasionally toying and teasing her), but of course, Soi Fon stubbornly said no, trying to concentrate on meditating outside in the training grounds of the Second Division.

Yoruichi: "You really are such a stick in the mud, ya know that..?~" She sighed, fondly shaking her head at her former apprentice's expected attitude.

Soon though, Yoruichi suddenly hears footsteps nearby, turning her head to see you approaching the two of them. Seeing the severed head you were carrying, she looked intrigued. She had never seen your face before... Had Soi Fon gained a new apprentice..? "Oh? And who's this~?"

Soi Fon: She perks up at Yoruichi's sudden question, sensing your Spiritual Pressure a few feet away from her and turns her head as well, getting up off the floor once she confirms it's you, facing you with her arms crossed like she wasn't just bickering with her former master. "Lieutenant. I take it everything went well?"
