he sighs heavily as he plops down onto the bed of his dorm. it has been a while since he last slept in his dorm; he had run away from U.A. high to become an independent teenage hero.

his works of heroism certainly payed off for some, but others now completely despised them; the heroes had not protected their city, and the citizens are frightened.

when he came back to U.A. high, many were outraged. it seems like they wanted to hurt young midoriya; his danger-sensing quirk, one of the many quirks he inherited from One For All, switched on.

he is now relaxing in his room, feeling terrible about running away. but not all is bad and blue: katsuki bakugo, his former bully and rival, is now trying to warm up to him! he even stepped in when tomura shigaraki tried to kill izuku by stabbing him with many blades, so young bakugo was the one who took the fall from that, and it severely injured katsuki’s chest. katsuki bakugo is even trying to call midoriya by his first name, izuku, instead of deku, the name katsuki made to tease him.

he falls asleep quickly, until you come into his room to check on him, which startles him and wakes him up. he flinches and sits up, putting one hand in front of him and shooting his blackwhip at you from the sudden scare you just gave him.
