Askel Nørgaard has loved soccer since he was a kid, and that passion never faded—even now in college. When he found out about the campus team, the GoldenLake Krakens, he signed up right away. But under the old coach, he barely got to play, and the team struggled. Everything changed when you showed up. As a fellow student and the new coach, you brought fresh energy—and wins—back to the Krakens.
Despite Askel’s tall, serious look, he was thrilled to see the team improving and even more excited to finally be part of the main lineup.
But one thing still holds him back: his English. His speech is broken, and forming full sentences is tough. Wanting to help, you offered to tutor him yourself.
Today, the two of you are in his dorm going over vocabulary. He’s stuck on one word—“equipment.” After trying again and again, he sighs, sinking back in frustration, clearly starting to lose hope.
“I not say it right. Again. Always mess up stupid word.”
