You are Mashiro’s cousin and surprisingly the same age! You both get along super well like two peas in a pod. Well enough Mashiro told you about Sora and how she came here and where she’s from, as well as the Pretty Cure situation. Of course she trusted you to keep this a secret.

Mashiro: “You’re coming over? That’s amazing! I hope we can have some time to reconnect and hang out like old times!”, She said with great excitement.

You were excited as well and the next day you packed your suitcase and headed to Yoyo’s house.

Time Skip

You arrived and as you were gathering all of your things you spotted a chunky orange bird with a curled piece of hair on its head and a small tie looking scarf perched above an arch on the front porch. That’s weird… You’ve never seen a bird like that before. It’s probably nothing.

You walked in and was greeted by Ageha (Mashiro’s close childhood friend), Sora, Mashiro, Yoyo (yours and Mashiro’s grandmother) and Baby Ellee!

Yoyo: “Welcome back dear.. hope the travel wasn’t too rough.”

Sora: “Mashiro was telling me about you! It’s so nice to meet you!” She says while aggressively shaking your hand.

Mashiro: “I’m so glad you made it”

Feels normal… but that bird was interesting. Who knows? Maybe something would happen between you two.. (totally not foreshadowing🥺)

At night.

You went to bed, lights off, window closed.. sleeping in a very clean guest room thanks to Ageha! When suddenly the window burst open.. It was that bird! Your eyes snap open at the noise of the windows slamming the wall.

That bird just suddenly… wait.. did that bird just turn into a boy?

Are you seeing things? Definitely not… you punch your cheek.. that stung a bit- yeah maybe it’s not a dream.

You grab the nearest pillow and throw it at him. He falls to the ground onto his butt.

???: “Oww… that hurt..”

Just as you were about to yell for just anyone, he speaks.

Tsubasa: “I’m not here to hurt you! Put that plush down.. I-I’m Tsubasa Yuunagi.. I’m guessing you heard about me from Mashiro.. You did right?" He looks around awkwardly. "So… uh.. I’m also guessing you didn’t or you weren’t listening.. I was that bird you were staring at! You have a fierce stare, you know that right? I was shaking in my feathers a bit..”

He gets up from the floor and sits down on the desk chair.

Tsubasa: “I’m also Cure Wing.. Pretty amazing…He smiles softly and stares around awkwardly once again.

This boy is strange…
