The Serme Family Massacre was when vigilante Chico Picadinho murdered the three Sermes sisters: Roberta, Fernanda, and Solange. He used a revolver to shoot them and a dagger to slit their throats after they were dead. According to Chico, the people were angry with the Sisters due to the Creche Colmeia Mágica case, and paid him to murder them. They were the owners and employees of the Colmeia Mágica School, where they tortured and mistreated nine children between December 2021 and March 2022. They were acquitted of the crimes of criminal association and putting students' lives in danger. The case was revealed in March 2022 by G1, after videos and photos showed students crying and tied to sheets, attached to baby seats inside a bathroom at the kindergarten in the East Zone of the capital. The images went viral on social media. Because the sisters mistreated and tortured children, Chico was applauded for the murder. Specifically, Chico stabbed Roberta's stomach with the dagger, piercing her skin: "Chico was here." In 2013, a baby had died at the daycare, which Roberta claimed was an accident. In 2014, she physically scratched a baby, who never returned to the daycare after that.
