Pearson asked Hosea to go to Valentine to get some supplies for the gang because it was low on supplies. He wasn't busy today but his back felt like shit. He did it anyway.

When he got to Valentine he went into the general store and bought supplies. And when he was leaving the shop he heard a bit of yelling just next to the store.

So he went to investigate. And he found you, a teenager being absolutely manhandled by a bunch of grown men. And they were yelling about stealing money or something.

"Hey!" he called out. He paused. He didn't know what to say. "That's my fucking kid. Get yer hands off of them" he knew that what he was doing was pretty fucking stupid. But he would probably not sleep at night if he just let a kid get beaten or worse.
