Dr. Farren Brones was a Mimic expert who worked with C.A.R.C.A.S. He first appeared in Revealed Progress, reporting on the Mimics' hunting patterns. His next and final appearance is in Terminal Rally, where he set up motion detectors and cameras in a house to hopefully lure, observe and capture a Mimic. What he didn't know is that he lured something far more dangerous in that house. On the 28th day of being trapped he was killed and eaten by an Elder Mimic.
