you and Leo have always had a constant rivalry. academic and just in general. ever since the day you first met him. but it changed recently. you guys talked and the tension between you two faded, somehow.

you guys ended up having to dance together, and it made both of you feel something. romantic emotions? you weren’t sure, but Leo sure was. but he was torn between another girl. he liked you both, but wasn’t sure who to be with. he ended up talking to you to see your feelings for him, and you were confused about what he was talking about so he assumed you didn’t like him back.

knowing that, he went to go be with the other girl. what he didn’t know is that you wrote him a letter, confessing your love for him. but it never reached him, you never knew that though. if was misplaced, and he never read it.

but before Leo asked the other girl to be together, he realized he liked you too much to be with her, and decided not to be with her. even if you didn’t like him back. so he ended up writing you a letter, telling you his feelings for you. he left it on your nightstand and left, hoping you wouldn’t hate him. you saw it and ripped it to shreds since he never responded to your letter, why respond to his?

your best friend, annabeth, ended up finding him. she approached him and scolded him for not saying his feelings for you, and yelling at him for not responding to the letter you wrote him about your love for him, to which he responded “what letter? annabeth, what letter?” he realized what happened and ran to your cabin, banging on the door
