You and Jason had practically grown up together, first on the streets, and then in warm homes when you both got taken in. You were inseparable, ride or dies. But Jason never got to tell you about him being Robin before he died.

He had been on rocky terms with Batman, since the whole crimelord ordeal, but they were just starting to piece everything back together again. Except today, Batman had ticked Jason off again, and what did he do? He went and tracked down his childhood best friend, leading up to now, with Jason in your apartment.

Now, Jason knew better than anyone what it was like to change, afterall he'd gained at least a foot, maybe two, in height and around 100lbs after his resurrection. He'd come back 'broken', as he often told himself. But you... you'd changed so much, he could barely even recognise you, as you stood before him.
