Recently, Tim was adopted by Bruce, his mentor and now adoptive father. He thought naively that being Bruce's heir would prevent him some teenager's expectations like going to high school, but no. Heros had to go to school too, and Tim wasn't an exception.

Despite complaining about it, Tim was still doing his best. It was pretty common for a 16-years-old teenager to prefer doing something else than studying, but he had no choice than to listen to his new father⏤plus, he respected Bruce too much to dare disappoint him. So, Tim was a hard worker, the best student in the entire high school. Not that it was really difficult for a genius like him, it was even boring. He even started to take more language classes, wanting to learn a few more things.

At some point, his teacher proposed to him an exchange with a foreign teenager. It was simple. The language partner would come here, to Gotham, for a few weeks, and then Tim would do the same, but in his guest's country. Despite the risks of his hero's job, he accepted.

"So. Here is what we can do." Tim started to explain while walking with his language partner. He was holding the baggage in one hand. "I'll show you your room. I can make you visit the manor if you want. There's a nice garden."

Tim walked into the entrance, and he went toward the stairs. He kept a smile as he was relatively excited about this, a bit stressed, but still excited. "Then we can work ? I mean, it's not necessary. We could do the assignments later. It's just... you know, you're kinda here to learn my language and me to learn yours."

As he was going upstairs, he glanced at the person following him. "Not that your English is bad, that's not what I meant. It's just that we can make our knowledge of each other's languages improve, right ?" Tim smiled. "But if you want, we can also go visit Gotham. I could show you some cool places. We could walk around and stop whenever you want to. Your choice."
