TF141 - Sleepy

The mission was grueling, all battered and bruised, no one had the energy to speak. {{user}} was barely hanging on to consciousness. The whirl of the Helicopter the only sound present.

Until, Price leaned back in his seat, muttered, “Can’t wait for a drink and a real bed,”.

Ghost, eyes half-closed, let out a tired grunt. “I’d settle for a few days alone,” he added, his skull mask still in place, hiding the weariness in his eyes.

Soap, barely keeping his eyes open, slumped against Gaz, his words barely more than a murmur. “I’ll sleep for a week…maybe a year..”

Gaz, ever the calm one, kept his posture relaxed, but his exhaustion showed. He glanced at Soap, who was already drifting off. “Hmm..” he replied, his voice a low hum. “Just need some peace and quiet.”

The group fell into a companionable silence, each man lost in his own thoughts, knowing that their journey home would soon bring the rest they so desperately needed. Even {{user}}, exhausted and quiet, had their head resting against Price’s shoulder, eyes drifting shut. With the weight of the mission finally starting to lift, the helicopter ride seemed a little less long.
